Wear a Ban

M18 meeting

Nov 15, 2011

The M18 meeting of the Wear-a-BAN project took place on 9-10 November 2011 in Paris and was hosted by CAPDIG, the French business cluster for digital content and services in Paris and the Ile de France region.

The Wear-a-BAN project has entered to its final phase, thus the M18 meeting proved to be an important platform for the review of the work progress made and the planning of the upcoming tasks with special regard to the testing and end-user validation.

During the meeting a workshop was dedicated to Dissemination and Exploitation issues, where the project partners discussed their preliminary plans for the exploitation and commercialization of the project results as well as addressed the protection of the generated IPR. Furthermore, in the frame of a training session the Wear-a-BAN partners got an insight on topics such as how to use the WAB nodes, how to connect and use the SW and HW development platform and how to programme the WAB node remotely.

The Wear-a-BAN project has received funding form the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme (Capacities, Research for the Benefit of SME Associations) managed by REA – Research Executive Agency under Grant Agreement No. 243473.
